Master Of Ceremonies: Dr kehli Howarth

Kehli Howarth is a medical intern at Khayelitsha in Cape Town, South Africa. She has a remarkable academic record, having graduated Cum Laude in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pretoria, Psychometry from Stellenbosch University, and Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand. She also holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Harvard University.

Kehli is a multi-talented and disciplined person who loves and cares for her fellow human beings. She has overcome an auto immune disease and supports others with similar conditions through a global support group. She is passionate about nutrition and gluten-free living.

The Difference between Allergies and intolerances and navigating these in everyday life 

Keynote speaker: Dr Thulja Trikamjee – Specialist Paediatrician and Allergologist 

She holds a sub-specialty Certificate in Paediatric Allergy, Diploma in Allergy, and the Union of European Medical Specialists Allergy and Immunology Certificate. She is currently a consultant at the University of Cape Town Lung Institute, where she is actively involved in research in the field of paediatrics, allergy, and immunology and has co-authored several publications in international peer review journals. Thulja is currently the Secretary of the EAACI Epidemiology Board, and also serves on the EAACI Exam Committee, Mentorship Programme Committee, World Allergy Organization Allergy Prevention Committee, and is also involved in several international Task Force Groups.
