Three veterans of the SA music scene combine for an outfit dedicated to playing classic 70’s blues, rock and boogie.
Rob Nagel on bass and harmonica has been a large part of the SA blues scene for many years with The Blues Broers, Michael Canfield is a seasoned veteran of both the American and SA live circuits with an impressive CV (including Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley), and Robin Auld is an SA songwriter/guitarist with many hits and over 17 albums to his name.
Getting together over a mutual love for bands like the Allman Brothers and The Band, a jam in Tulbagh started the idea to form a fun band playing the songs they’ve always wanted to. The public has loved the Breeze from the get-go, a trend that seems set to continue!
