The Masicorp fundraiser in October is building to be quite a blockbusting, showcase. The evening will include a welcoming art and photographic exhibition from two local up-and-coming Masi artists: Ongama Manyase (ONGOINGMOVEMNT) and Qhamani Bangani.
During dinner guests will be serenaded by students from the renowned Masi Violin Outreach programme whose students have performed at live venues all around the Deep South and greater Cape Town.
After dinner the main show will kick off featuring the talents of fresh new Deep South singer songwriters, Emma-Jean and Mel Malisch, both who have just recently released new songs on all major platforms, who are performing to and ‘wow-ing’ audiences at venues around Cape Town, including café Roux!
Their performance will be followed by a special guest performance from singer-songwriter Paul De Villiers who rose to local prominence with his hit “Masi” during lockdown, raising money for the Masi Creative Hub to help feed the kids during that stressful period of our recent history.
He will be joined with special guest legend Robin Auld who will then introduce and perform with the sensational new Afro Roots outfit, Mwezi and Hisbon Jnr, originally from Malawi, with their band The Combination Band.
During the evening there will be prizes and a lucky draw by MASICORP.
You don’t want to miss this once-off show!
