The AM Quartet has been together since 2015 in various different formats. In 2015 they embarked on a successful tour of Sweden that culminated in a spot on the world renown Stockholm Jazz Festival. With a traditional swing jazz sound, The AM Quartet utilises the harmony of voice and trombone in a way that has not yet been showcased in South Africa. Their sound is both fresh and classic and pays homage to duos such as Chet Baker and Jerry Mulligan, to Kai Winding and JJ Johnson.
