In collaboration with Cape Town based ‘SILENT EVENTS’, and DJs NYX. & LES G (Queen Of Hearts), SILENT HOUSE will set foot on JHB soil for the first time evah! bringing in the best of the best of years of eventing, DJ and musical experience.

South African born DJ and Producer, Tamayo Jacob, is better known in the industry as ‘Mayo’. Over the years he has taken on music production by storm. With his wide range of sounds, he has been supported by numerous artists from many different countries, and he has accomplished many high-end level tracks that have charted around the world.

MICHAEL LESAR
Michael’s sets are instantly recognizable by his distinct Dirty Basslines and knows all about jam packed, hip swinging head banging dance floors having spread his magic at Festivals and events around the world. Michael has played at some of South Africa’s biggest festivals like Origin (ct) Earthdance (ct&jhb) Vortex, Mieliepop Festival, Oppikoppi, Splashy Fen, Smoking Dragon, H20, Park Acoustic, Capital Craft Beer Festival, Balkanology, Sowing the seeds, Holi One Color Festival (to a crowd of 18000) to name a few.

NYX.
NYX. A versatile professional DJ, NYX has played alongside the likes of Dave Seaman, (UK) John 00 Fleming, (UK) Alexey Sonar, (Rus) Aaron Suiss, (Tulum / USA) Amare, (Bel) Alex Cruz, (USA) Dobé (Ger) to name a few, with having recently ventured to Egypt and Zanzibar sharing her melodic beats further afield. Co-founder of SONYX and curator of line ups, NYX. has a BMus honours (Wits) degree to her name and has been active in the DJ & music industry for over 15 years. Expect soulful sounds and enticing melodies when NYX. is on the decks. Her energy is set to scintillate your soul.

How does it work?
There will be 3 DJ’s on 3 separate decks for 1.5 hours each with their own transmitter (or channel), which means you get to choose for yourself what you want to listen to.
3 hours altogether = 6 DJS

We supply the headphones (to be returned after the event – they only work with the Silent Events transmitters) 🙂
With 3 different music sources, you can switch to your favourite DJ and dance to the style you like best!
Genre of Music to expect: Vocal House, Deep House, Afro Tech, HipHop , Funk, and some irresistible Disco.

Each headphone will allow you to turn the music up as loud as you like.

Come enjoy 6 DJs, 3 channels and 3 musical experiences to choose from in a setting that’s magical and like no other…. you will be spoilt for choice from beginning to end.
