- Share Your Nomination: Tell your community that you’ve been nominated – on your website, newsletters, Instagram, Facebook, even your foyer!
- Use the Official Nominee Badge: Display it proudly. It builds trust and draws attention.
- Ask for Votes: Every customer is a potential vote. Remind them during check-out, on receipts, in email signatures, or in your stories.
- Tell Your Story: People vote for businesses they connect with. Use this opportunity to show what makes you you.

For Voters

Our editorial team selects initial nominees. Businesses can also self-nominate by emailing [email protected] and telling us why they feel they should be included in a specific category.
Public voting will take place via a dedicated link on CapeTourism.com. One vote per email per category. Reviews are optional but encouraged.
Final scores are calculated based on 80% public votes and 20% expert panel ratings using a detailed judging rubric (view judging criteria).
No. Winning cannot be bought. The only optional cost is for our Awards Promotion Package which enhances media exposure – it’s entirely separate from the judging process.
Winners receive a certificate, digital badge, feature coverage on CapeTourism.com, and a dedicated awards campaign across our platforms. Some categories include additional sponsor prizes.
Yes! Voters stand a chance to win spot prizes (vouchers, hotel stays, etc.) and be entered into a grand prize draw. Follow us on social media to stand a chance to win spot prizes and be the first to know who wins the grand prize.
The winners will be announced during a virtual or hybrid ceremony in October 2025. All nominees will be notified via email.
